I live alone, in a one-bedroom apartment on a busy San Francisco street, and manage pretty
well to take care of myself…though elderly (I was born in 1915). I seldom go out—a few years ago
a sleepy driver shattered one of my knees when I was crossing the street, so walking is "work".
I do ‘facilitate' an every-other-week Opera Group; I read a great deal and formerly wrote a new
novel every few months, books that GLB Publishers offers as ‘E- books,' along with four of my
older works. The 1968 "A Sand Fortress" was an early popular gay novel published in
three languages. All of my novels and stories attempt to present gay characters as individual
human beings, for I hope to break down the silly, vicious stereotyping that is constantly reiterated
by parents, educators, journalists, churches and civic officials. Also, very often, I include a male
character, or several male characters, known to have an unusually big phallos. I do not consider
attention to that characteristic as "low"…as many do. It's genetic, a matter of luck and as often a
curse as a blessing. And, apparently, a major, inhibited concern of many, many gay and straight
persons. Many of my beliefs are more important and more surprising, perhaps. (1) I detest anyone's
writing or saying "America" when only the USA is meant. There may have been a time, long ago,
when "America" meant the USA; but why cling to a old usage which was always misleading?
(2) Why does ea ch state have 2 Senators? Populous California only as many as barren Idaho!
But the Senate is very powerful— disproportionally so! (3) A few babies are born with their
sex-interest directed only to their own gender. All babies are potentially bisexual but the sex
impulses of many are distorted by authority figures…for their own benefit…or/and all sex-impulses
become weak before persons are aware of possible "other gender" genital or non-genital relations.
(4) Globalism is fast eroding the importance of "Sovereign Nations". In a few more years the USA,
France, Russia, China, etc. will no longer exist as separate political entities. Wait and see!
(5) Bright Geshua, son of Hosf the carpenter, grew up in a city right on the main trade-route between
the "East" and Greece and Egypt. From Buddhists he learned that all humans are equal—that all who
put aside Temporal Pleasures to achieve Nirvana—or to worship Allohim had earned eternal bliss
(grace) in Heaven—a good deal to many poor, otherwise hopeless, persons. When the Church Catholic
needed authority, they chose to affirm that ‘Temporal' meant all body pleasures (except of course Sex
for procreation within authorized wedlock!!). And Geshua the Leader was known as ‘Jesus Christ' when
J entered Latin.
Goodbye, I'll be gone before long for I have a blood-clot waiting to finish me off.

P.S. GLB also sells a newish print book, "Dancing on the Barricades," published in 2004, and will publish
another new print book in 2007, "The Tangles," that portrays a bisexual couple as I think they really are.
The latter was actually written in 1978.
